Tina, they have a better collar at Care A Lot Pet Supplies. I ordered one for Herc. It's like a people neck brace and has a strap that goes around their middle to help keep it on. It was like $27.00 but worth it. It doesn't stick out like the e-collar does so they can lay down in comfort.

Maybe you could get this for Apollo. Good luck keeping him calm for the next ten days. Poor baby; he looks just like Herc did with that e-collar on. Don't buy into that look. I've seen it before. He's playing on mommy's sympathy on purpose.

Hello Apollo, this has worked for me for many years. Eliminate the dry kibble and boil white rice and cook up chicken or hamburger (drain hamburger well) use half the amount (weight) that you would normally feed. Try it for 3 to 5 meals increasing the amount slightly each meal. When you see improvement slowly add your kibble and slowly back off the rice and meat. Pumpkin works well but it also works for constipation so it might have been adding to your pups problem. When stools are better if the problem returns chances are that the kibble isn't agreeing with your pup. Always give small amounts when adding ingrediants. best to you & the pup. von Cosack.

Hey Tina, I don't know if you're still having issues with stools, but if you are I have another idea for you. It could be total coincidence, but I bought some of the "Sam's Yams" chews from the Nutra 9 website, and Shanoa's had one a day for the last few days. They don't last long, but she really likes them. Anyway, I've noticed an improvement in her stool the last few days, too. Like I said, could be a coincidence, but it might be that the yams are giving her a little firmer stool. Just something to try, if you want. (Oh, and you might see some bright orange in the stool from the sweet potato!)
